Amala Hopeline is a warmline (helpline) developed to prevent isolation in our community’s youth. During our open hours, youth aged 18-30 are encouraged to call our line to process any struggles they may be going through. Our peer supporters go through a 30-hour training to listen to callers without judgment and provide resources upon request.
Requirements
- Must be a youth 18-30 years old
- Take 32-hour training
- Commit to at least 4hrs a week for a call shift
- Dari/Pashto speakers are encouraged to apply
If you are interested in being trained as a peer supporter, reach out to our Program Coordinator at christina.aguilar@mas-ssf.org.
