Become a Volunteer

Introduction

MAS-SSF strives to keep families together by providing wellness and mental health services to immigrants and refugees from the South Asian North African and Middle Eastern communities.

We serve all ages through our many programs including Al-Afia for senior, Shifta for Youth, Omid for Afghans, Amala Youth Hopeline and Amanah House. aven for mental health concerns.

MAS-SSF is looking for volunteers to be part of our mission to help our community members in many ways always with the goal of strengthening family ties and improve mental health.

We need volunteers from all ethnicities and racial backgrounds, multi-lingual a plus but not required.

Become a volunteer and learn how we work daily to improve the lives our community members.

Volunteer Process

Once you submit a volunteer form and it has been processed, you will receive a welcome email from MAS-SSF and will be added as a new associate volunteer.

The welcome email will provide further information regarding a mandatory 30-min informal orientation and/or training. The orientation will introduce you to MAS-SSF and its services, committees, events, workshops, and meetings. You will be encouraged to attend one of these within the next 2 months to familiarize yourself with the organization and its volunteers.
